Numerical control machining

Let me introduce what the basic definition of numerical control machining is!

numerical control machining refers to a technological method of processing parts on numerical control machine tools. The technological regulations of numerical control machine tool machining and traditional machine tool machining are generally consistent, but obvious changes have also occurred. A mechanical processing method that controls the displacement of parts and tools with digital information. It is an effective way to solve the problems of variable parts varieties, small batches, complex shapes and high precision, and to achieve efficient and automated processing.

Numerical control machining refers to the processing carried out by the control system issuing instructions to make the cutting tool perform various movements that meet the requirements, and representing the shape, size and other technical requirements and processing technology requirements of the workpiece in the form of numbers and letters. It generally refers to the technological process of parts processing on CNC machine tools.

A numerical control machine tool is a type of machine tool controlled by a computer. The computer used to control the machine tool, whether it is a dedicated computer or a general-purpose computer, is collectively referred to as a numerical control system. The movement and auxiliary actions of a CNC machine tool are all controlled by the instructions issued by the CNC system. The instructions of the numerical control system are compiled by programmers based on the material of the workpiece, processing requirements, characteristics of the machine tool, and the instruction format (numerical control language or symbols) specified by the system.

The numerical control system sends operation or interruption information to the servo device and other functional components according to the program instructions to control various movements of the machine tool. When the processing program of the part ends, the machine tool will stop automatically. For any kind of numerical control machine tool, if no program instructions are input into its numerical control system, the numerical control machine tool cannot work. The controlled actions of the machine tool roughly include the starting and stopping of the machine tool. The start and stop of the main shaft, the transformation of its rotation direction and speed; The direction, speed and mode of feed motion; The selection of cutting tools, compensation for their length and radius; Tool replacement, opening and closing of coolant, etc.
