The production process and technological flow of medical precision parts processing
What processes usually constitute the processing of medical precision parts? Let's take a look together today!
I. Production Process and Technological Process
1. Production process
The process of converting raw materials into products is called the production process. The production process mainly includes the transportation of raw materials, the storage of raw materials, the preparatory work before production, the pre-processing of blanks, mechanical processing, surface treatment, assembly, inspection, debugging, anti-oxidation treatment and the packaging of products.
The production process can also be divided into the production process of the entire machine or the production process of a single component, whether it is the coordinated production process of the entire factory or the production process of a single workshop.
2. Process flow
In the specific production process, the process of directly altering the shape and size of the raw material to the required relative position and properties of the product, making it a finished or semi-finished product, is called the technological flow. The technological flow is a very important component of the production process. The main part of the production process of mechanical processing manufacturers is called the mechanical processing technological flow. The main part of the production process in the assembly workshop is called the assembly process flow.
Ii. What components make up the mechanical processing technology flow
1. Formulation of processing procedures
A processing procedure refers to the technological process in which an operator or a group of operators continuously complete the processing of one or more parts at a fixed workplace or on a fixed processing machine. A processing procedure is a fundamental component of the mechanical processing technology route and also the basic unit for arranging production plans.
2. Installation
The part of the process completed after a workpiece or an assembled unit is clamped once is called the installation process. Sometimes, in the same process, the workpiece may need to be installed several times to achieve the final goal. It should be noted here that during the processing, the number of installations should be minimized as much as possible to reduce installation errors and save more auxiliary time.
3. Work steps
The part of the process that is continuously completed while the machined surface of the part, the tools required for processing, the rotational speed and the feed rate remain unchanged is called a working step. A working step is the basic unit that constitutes a process.
4. Workstation
To complete a certain process, after a single clamping, the workpiece and the fixture, along with the movable part of the equipment, occupy each position relative to the fixed part of the tool and the equipment. For instance, when milling a hexagon with a dividing head, each rotation is one station.
5. Tool movement
In the same working step, if the processing volume is relatively large, the same tool needs to be used to perform multiple cuts on the same processing surface at the same rotational speed and feed rate. Each cut is one pass.
