Small-scale numerical control machining

Has the small CNC machining center malfunctioned? How to solve and handle it?

A small CNC machining center is a high-efficiency automated machine tool composed of mechanical equipment and a CNC system, which is suitable for processing complex parts. The CNC machining center is currently one of the CNC machine tools with the highest output and the widest application in the world.

It has a strong comprehensive processing capacity. After a workpiece is clamped once, it can complete a large number of processing tasks, with high processing accuracy. For batch workpieces of medium processing difficulty, its efficiency is 5 to 10 times that of ordinary equipment. Especially, it can complete many processing tasks that ordinary equipment cannot. It is more suitable for single-piece processing with complex shapes and high precision requirements or medium and small batch multi-variety production.

1. Serial encoder communication error alarm of the CNC machining center. Cause: The unit detected that the motor encoder of the CNC machining center was disconnected or had poor communication. Check whether the connection between the encoder feedback line of the motor and the amplifier is correct and firm. If the feedback line is normal, replace the servo motor (because the encoder of the motor is integrated with the motor and cannot be disassembled). If it is an α motor, replace the encoder. If it occurs occasionally, it might be caused by interference. Check whether the shielding wire of the motor feedback line is intact.

2. Error alarm for pulse counting of the encoder in the CNC machining center (LED display 6, the system's PMM screen shows 303/304/305/308 alarm). Cause analysis: The serial encoder of the servo motor lost pulses or failed to count during operation. Turn off the machine and then turn it on again. If there is still the same alarm, replace the motor (if it is an α motor, replace the encoder) or the feedback cable. If the alarm disappears after the CNC machining center is restarted, it is necessary to return to the reference point before running other instructions. If the PMM of the system is 308, it might be caused by interference. Shut down and then turn it on again.
